Become Second Nature, LLC is a very small business, just me to be exact. Orignially known as Arcadian Buffalo Soap Co., it began back in 2016 when I traveled to the Rocky Mountains of the West and fell in love with the old fashioned cold-process soap making of our early American pioneers. Tired of all the awful chemicals in store products these days, I began thinking about making and perfecting quality, natural, skin care for me and my children, beyond soap! It was that inspiration, coupled with my bachelor's education in science and chemistry, that lead me to develop a plant-based skin, hair, and tattoo line of products made for those who want a natural and effective skin and hair care routine. The overwhelmingly positive response from everybody who tried my products, encouraged me to turn a small idea into a swiftly growing business with my products in shops all across America.

Since then, every product in my shop is researched, formulated, tested, and made by me. I spend time researching what to add and why it will be beneficial, then I look for the best suppliers of those ingredients to ensure quality and authenticity. When possible or applicable, I use RSPO, organic, and sustainable sources. I test all formulations on myself and a number of volunteers from a variety of age/skin/hair backgrounds. If the products stand up to scrutiny, they enter my shop! I let the products speak for themselves, folks usually love everything they try and they come back again for more.

The skin, hair, and tattoo products I make are free from the nasty things that creep into many so-called natural products. Become Second Nature products do not have parabens, pthalates, EDTA, synthetics & useless fillers, animal or bee ingredients, and no synthetic fragrances! My products contain quality, plant-derived ingredients, natural essential oils or aromatic botanical isolates for scent, and thoughtfully researched preservatives when necessary.
